Chaston, a graduate of Mendenhall High School in 1993, immediately enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a paratrooper at Fort Bragg, NC for 4 years and with 113 MP company for 6 years. He then transferred to the US Air Force serving 10 years as a flight medic with 183rd AE and 8 years as the 172 Wing’s Equal Opportunity Specialist. He retired in September 2022 with 28 years of service.
In addition to serving in the military, Chaston earned his associate degree in Applied Science with specialties in Paramedicine, he was a full-time firefighter certified with multiple advanced rescue certifications for 20 years. He is also certified in MS Emergency Management, a licensed freight train conductor, engineer, and unmanned drone pilot, and a certified counselor and mediator.
Bullock is currently the Director of Lincoln Civic Center and also serves as Missions & Outreach Pastor at CenterPoint. He absolutely adores and loves his wife Stephanie and their 5 children: Andrew, Jodi, Trace, Addison, and Walker. Stephanie, Director of Strategic Initiatives at MS Institutions of Higher Learning, serves as the Public Affairs Coordinator and on the CenterPoint Worship Team. She also is the founder of the non-profit Beautifully Broken Ministries.
Chaston and Stephanie both love serving and being obedient to the Lord. They have lived in Brookhaven for 13 years and enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends. In Chaston’s spare time, he enjoys working out at the gym, wood working, being on his tractor, and cutting the grass.
